Biography:

Three years after creating the Mouvman Kiltirel Akiyo association, the Nankin brothers and some « tanbouyés » friends from different neighborhoods of Pointe-à-Pitre revolutionised the guadelouppean carnival in Guadeloupe creating a procession in opposition with the sounded carnival float.

Traditional skin drums replaced huge plastic drums. Those are banged in the rhythm of "Mas a Senjan" (special rhythmic carnival group drum with two membranes in natural skin) and are accompanied by conch shells, gourds (cha cha) and whistles. Rhythms but also words.
