As an intern at Théâtre Sorano in Dakar from 1976 to 1986, Aliou Cissé performed in numerous plays from the French repertoire and was in charge of the children’s theatre. Once established in Martinique, he has been remarked in cinema as well as in the theatre where he performs for Martinican authors and directors and explores creative work in France and across the Caribbean.
