A native of Strasbourg, Jean-Marc Hunt grew up out the outskirts. His first designs emerged from street art, in particular with graffiti and rap music, and these influences are pervasive throughout his works. His language is an intimate look at the urban environment and the concept of the black diaspora, essentially through the repetition of codes and lettering. He exhibits regularly in the United States, Switzerland and Europe.
