She entered public service in 1984 with the French Ministry of Labor (labor inspectorate, foreign labor department in Seine-Saint-Denis and transportation labor inspectorate, Paris 12th and 13th).
After passing the entrance exam for the regional administrative institute, she was appointed central administrative officer and joined the French Ministry of Culture in 1992 where she held the position of deputy department head for National Stages.
