A monumental sculpture is installed at Anse Caffard (commune of Diamant) in homage to those who drowned on a slave ship from Africa in 1830. The monument faces cape 110, which is the cape of the Gulf of Guinea where this mysterious vessel had sailed from, and was erected for the 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery.
