This literature professor and author actively contributes to the literary and associative life of his island through numerous recitals (with the support of the Haitian singer Chantal Laurent), as well as frequent encounters with secondary school and university students. As the author of a sizeable body of work, his cinema-poem Western was adapted to the stage in 1998 by the Thalia troupe.
