A member of the rap group NègKiPaKaFèLAFèt since 1989, he is known for his militant lyrics with a strong emphasis on texts in Creole, although his rap performances in French have impressed quite a few.
He is naturally as comfortable with a dancehall instrumental as a rap number and is one of Martinique’s first performers to have crossed the boundary between these two sister genres. He also differs from the performers from one or the other of these movements.
Nèg Madnick is heavily influenced by traditional music.
