Biography: 

He has been the guardian of rural Martinican culture since the 1970’s.
This resourceful drum maker is attached to transmitting his knowledge through published works and conferences, as well as dance and percussion workshops from as far as Japan to Germany to Venezuala.
In 1976, he became President of the Antilles Guyane Ballet of Paris. He created a dance and music show entitled Makandia and has accompanied leading Caribbean performers like Moune de Rivel, Gérard Laviny, and Maurice Jallier and often performs at the La Canne à Sucre cabaret.
