Window on Cuban cinema

A week of film projections from the Caribbean and beyond, in partnership with CMAC* and the National Stage of Martinique, at the Atrium. By hosting a dozen guests, the aim of the event is to restore the living memory of the insular Caribbean and Africa, to provide a glimpse of the world as it is in its cultural diversity, and pay homage to cinema and those who make it. The Jean-Philippe Matime award winners are honoured at the closing ceremony. There is also programing in local cinemas and other pop-up theatres in partnership with Rencontre Cinéma en Martinique (ARCM), FILMDIS, CADICE*, and the Ciné Woulé Company*. Entrance is free of charge. Period: June-July.
