Theresa Lowrie-Collymore was born and raised in the United Kingdom of English and St. Lucian and English  parentage, where she began building her dance world at the of age 5.
In  1976 she migrated to St.Lucia as a vocational student in Classical Ballet, and with sincere parental encouragement her teaching and chorographical skill began in 1979. Â
