The CDEC is a true resources point which never cease to impel ambitious projects in order to develop dance in Guadeloupe and to make it radiate abroad.

“Danser en Commune”: awareness campaign towards dance in rural environment between 1998 and 2000.
“Trois Chemins de la danse” in 2004: conference on the emergence of the Caribbean contemporary dance with artists invited from Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, French Guyana, Martinique, France, Guadeloupe. The conference was followed by master-class and showcases.
