The Etablissement Public de Coopération Culturelle des Arts Vivants de Guyane was created on April 30, 2013 by the Guyana Region and French Ministry of Culture. It is slated to become a National Stage.
The aim of the establishment is to promote regional cultural development by forming a network across the area and connections with Guianese cultural influence around the world.
Three key components:
  Heritage preservation,
  Multi-disciplinary artistic distribution throughout the Guianese area,
  Artistic creation and the emergence of performers.Â
